The journey to Triumph Over Failure and Fear starts with defining who you are and discovering the power of resiliency.

Sally Allen was born in Guyana, South America, and migrated to the United States in 1993. She began writing her debut non-fiction book after she started to believe that her story was not "normal."

Her passion for volunteering and advocating for women and children has taken her to Peru, Ireland, Mexico, Poland, and Cambodia worldwide.

Born into a toxic environment, forced into an arranged marriage, and subjected to sexual abuse, Sally was trapped in a perpetual state of fear and insecurity.

The most challenging part of the bondage in her mind was not realizing it wasn't normal. For a long time, Sally allowed her circumstances to define who she was until she discovered the power of resilience.

Living a life of resilience provided the paradigm shift from victim to survivor, from a lack of self-esteem to boldness and bravery, and from fearing people to having faith in God.

Sally resides in Nevada with her husband and three dogs and is a mother to an adult son. When she isn't volunteering, she dedicates most of her time to traveling, reading, cooking, biking, and hiking.
